Up for sale is this vintage 1979 Peavey T-60 electric guitar. One of several that recently arrived here, it's a very cool example of what was, at the time, a very cutting edge model...

This instrument is all original and is in nice condition for its age. This one did get played and has the wear to show it, including nicks, dings, scratches, and scuffs. We have tried to capture the worst of the wear in the photos, including the pitting on the hardware and the superficially edge cracks of the pickup rings (they are perfectly stable). The fretboard has the common small, very tight split along the center seam of the neck which is often seen on these instruments and is no reason for concern.

Our tech has just gone over this one by cleaning it up, spraying out the electronics, polishing the frets, installing a fresh set of strings, and performing a set up. It plays nicely with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets appear to have fairly recently been leveled and are starting to get a bit low although they still have a decent amount of life left in them. He did note that there was some fret buzz here and there if you're heavy-handed but that there is plenty of room to adjust for your playing style. That being said, nothing frets or chokes out with the current set up and it's a whole lot of fun to play.

The original plastic molded Peavey hardshell case is included and is in nice condition for its age. All of the latches and hinges are present and function as they should. A few of the case feet have broken through the plastic (very, very common for these) but, other than that, it's in good shape. The instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
