Here is a really nice and pretty clean 1963 Fender Jaguar in vibrant three-tone sunburst.
This is a late ’63 / early ’64 transitional example — technically leaving the factory in early 1964, but still carrying a November 1963 neck date. It’s a fully pre-CBS L-series instrument, and retains the classic early spec set including no neck binding, clay dot inlays, and single-line Kluson tuners, all wrapped in an example of what many consider some of the best build-quality era Jaguars.
This guitar is 100% original with no changes whatsoever, and retains its original finish with no alterations or touch-ups of any kind.
Overall, it presents as a very clean and honest example. The main cosmetic note is some curling cord wear on the back and a bit on the front, which brings it down slightly from excellent, but it still sits comfortably at a very good plus condition level.
The neck is straight, and the guitar is a really nice player overall, with a comfortable feel and strong, responsive setup.
Everything functions and sounds as it should — it delivers that classic early Jaguar tone with plenty of clarity, chime, and punch.
It comes complete with the original no-logo hardshell case, the original tremolo arm, and the Fender mute still present in the case.
