This Korg padKONTROL is a solid USB MIDI drum pad controller with 16 velocity-sensitive trigger pads that light up, perfect for triggering drum samples, loops, or controlling software instruments. The KAOSS-style X-Y touchpad handles flams, rolls, and real-time parameter tweaks like pitch bend or effects depth, with invertible axes for flexible mapping. Two assignable knobs let you dial in extra control, and it supports toggle or momentary switching per pad.
Connects via USB for bus power or MIDI In/Out for hardware, with an assignable pedal jack for footswitches like a kick trigger (pedal not included). Stores 16 user scenes plus 30 presets for quick setups with DAWs, Triton, or GM gear. The 7-segment display shows your settings, and pads offer 8 velocity curves or fixed levels for precise feel.
