Rare 1994 Gibson Flying V “Primavera” — produced only in 1994 and seldom seen on the market.
This model features a body (and neck) made from Primavera (often referred to as “white mahogany”), a lighter Central American tonewood that gives the guitar its distinctive natural/yellow hue and a slightly different tonal character compared to standard mahogany Flying Vs. Built in the classic ’67 Flying V style with large white pickguard, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and dual humbuckers.
I bought it used in Florida several years ago and have barely played it since. It remains in excellent cosmetic condition, with only two very minor scuffs (please see photos).
Never gigged under my ownership. Always kept in a smoke-free, humidity-controlled environment.
The neck profile is extremely comfortable —not too thin, not too chunky.
Includes original Gibson hard case and all original case candy.
Only selling because I simply have too many guitars.
A great opportunity to acquire a short-run Flying V from the early ’90s —a model that doesn’t surface often and stands apart from standard production Vs.
