Selling a Berlant tube microphone preamp from the late 50’s with modifcations for modern studio functionality. These were originally made for home HiFi systems but can be modified to work with modern microphones by adding input and output transformers. I had a tech put in Urei input and Altec output transformers. He also made the IO XLR, switched the AC cable to a 3-pro, and made the source blend knob a output level trim. It has a lot of character and can go from a more subtle vintage tone to overdriven to almost having too much color. This is your chance to own a very unique, ready to use vintage preamp. Will be packed very carefully.
