Originally inspired by a rare set of custom-finished Les Paul models unveiled at the 1955 NAMM Show, this commemorative release captures that same spirit of innovation and exclusivity. Produced in extremely limited numbers across five historically inspired custom colors, this is a true collector-grade instrument with vintage-correct appointments and unmistakable presence.
Built with a one-piece mahogany body and a two-piece plain maple top, this guitar delivers the resonance, sustain, and tonal depth that define the golden era of Les Paul design. The chunky 1950s-style neck profile offers a substantial, comfortable feel in hand, paired with a rosewood fretboard and classic trapezoid inlays for a timeless playing experience.
Equipped with a pair of Custom Shop P-90 soapbar pickups, this Les Paul produces everything from warm, articulate cleans to raw, dynamic grit with incredible touch sensitivity. The hand-wired controls and premium components ensure smooth response and vintage-accurate tone shaping.
The Murphy Lab light aging treatment gives the guitar the look and feel of a well-preserved original, with subtle wear that adds character without overdoing it. From the finish checking to the lightly aged hardware, every detail is crafted to evoke decades of natural play.
Additional vintage-inspired features include a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, lightweight stop bar tailpiece, Kluson-style tuners, and period-correct appointments throughout.
