TASCAM Porta 02 MKII Multitrack 4-Track Cassette Recorder

This Tascam Porta 02 MKII has been fully serviced, cleaned, and calibrated, and is ready for immediate use. All core functions—playback, recording, and transport—are working properly, and the unit sounds great. Track-to-track response and noise characteristics may still vary slightly, as is typical for analog cassette multitrack recorders. There is a video attached to the listing where recording and playback on all 4 channels as well as the pitch mod is demonstrated.

The unit has an added pitch control. This goes from normal speed to so slow the motor stops spinning. It's a little sensitive but can be cool to mess around with.

The unit is missing its cassette door, purely cosmetic and doesn't impede on the functionality of the device.

The hole around the power led is a little bigger than normal, also purely cosmetic.

Besides what is mentioned the unit is in great cosmetic condition.

Each unit includes a service form outlining the unit’s previous issues, all repairs made, all calibrations made, and the full testing process performed. Below is a summary of the work completed.

• Unit fully disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled
• Added pitch control
• Wow and flutter measured at ~0.13% RMS (low)
