Selling a pair of Genelec 8010A nearfield studio monitors and a 5040b (discontinued) subwoofer.
The 8010A's are in excellent shape, work perfectly and sound fantastic. There are a few cosmetic blemishes on the top and side of the right speaker (see 4th & 5th photos). I also upgraded the stock rubber base to Genelec's metal stands for better positioning. I no longer have the rubber bases unfortunately.
The subwoofer was damaged in a recent move :( One of the rear legs broke off, and I did the best I could trying to superglue the remaining piece back on. Admittedly... not my best, nor the most appealing- but it's on there & sturdy. Fortunately it's one of the rear legs, so you can't see it when everything is setup.
The front right output of the sub is also loose- everything works & sounds great, but if the cable isn't in the right position, you can hear audible noise through the speaker as you would in an incomplete connection. I can't imagine this is a complicated fix, but I've never looked into getting it repaired, nor am I savy enough to do it myself.
Includes 3x power cables, 2x XLR to RCA cables and Genelec volume controller.
Purchased everything new from Sweetwater in 2013 for $1700.
Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
