The 1966 Gibson EB-2C is a semi-hollow electric bass with a distinctive, deep "mudbucker" tone, often seen in cherry ("C" for Cherry) or sunburst finishes. It is a 30.5-inch short-scale instrument featuring a laminated maple body and a large "Sidewinder" humbucking pickup, widely favored in 1960s British Invasion bands including John Entwistle.

This bass is in clean condition and the tone button circuit is intact. Bass sounds incredible and plays evenly up and down the neck. This is one of the nicest examples you will see from 1966. Includes the original hardshell case. A really "good" one. Please no trade offers and serious inquires ONLY. All sales are final & local pickup ONLY. Listing may end at any time as I have this listed on the Albany, NY CL and FB marketplace. Thanks.
