2011 Recording King RNJ-25 - Nick Lucas Sunburst

First, these are very hard to find these days... If you want one you should grab it! Not sure why they quit making them they're fantastic - mesmerizing guitars. Built to the Old Nick Lucas Speck w/ almost a 5" body depth!

The Recording King RNJ-25 (Jubilee Troubadour) is a discontinued, all-solid wood acoustic guitar designed as a tribute to 1920s-style Nick Lucas small-body instruments. It features a 4.5-inch deep, 13.5-inch wide body, solid Sitka spruce top, and solid figured maple back/sides, resulting in a punchy & clean resonanance with good projection. Flat picking the top two high strings (E &B) is an out-of-body experience. Sounds like a very powerful reverb being applied. Heavenly. I've never had a guitar this incredible sounding on the high-end. Period. Very unique & very pleasing - and doesn't take away from a balanced tone top to bottom under heavy strumming or fingerpicking. It captures the essence, quite literally, what Lucas intended w/ the small, deep-body, maple option.
