NO SHIPPING AVAILABLE.Up for sale is an iconic Parker Fly Deluxe, built in January 2000 (Wilmington, MA - Serial: 014068BP). This is a true Pre-Refined instrument from the era when Ken Parker’s oversight set the gold standard for ergonomic guitar design.
The guitar features professional-grade upgrades to enhance its versatility and reliability:Pickups: Suhr Aldrich set (Zebra bridge / Black neck).
Incredible sustain and clarity, a massive improvement over the stock pickups.
Custom Internal Passive Mod: An internal DPDT switch (accessible via the back cavity) allows for True Bypass of the preamp.
The pickups work as fully passive without a battery (tone & piezo are bypassed in passive mode).
Reliability Upgrade: High-quality Stereo Jack replacement (retains full Stereo functionality).
Piezo System: Original Fishman Piezo system in perfect working order.Hardware: Original Sperzel Locking Tuners and Stainless Steel frets with zero wear.Condition:Player’s Grade.
It has some natural aesthetic finish chips/dings around the body edges, as expected from a 26-year-old instrument that has been played. Structurally it is flawless; the carbon-glass skin is intact and the neck is in perfect condition.
*Note for perfectionists: If you wish to restore the guitar to a mint/showroom appearance, these finish dings are purely cosmetic. Because the carbon skin is 100% healthy, it can be easily refinished by any luthier specializing in Parker Fly guitars (such as the famous expert workshop based here in Greece, or other specialized Fly luthiers worldwide).
