Attention Alvarez Collectors! Here is a model 5051 made in 1982 to commerate the 60th Anniversary of Alvarez Guitars. Only about 200 ever made in JAPAN at the Yauri plant. This is one of the second batch of the proto type after they opened up the sound holes. They produced the final production with engraved gold colored plates attached to the back of the headstock and started giving them serial numbers on that plate. Circa 1982. No serial number, only "Hand Made in Japan" shows through the sound holes. Yes, it has two!, both hand carved not laser. Super rare and super nice. Has a few little nicks and scratches but over all it looks hardly used. Free Shipping to continental USA
