You are purchasing a Boss FRV-1 Fender '63 Reverb compact effects pedal for guitar (or bass).
This is pedal is the result of collaboration between Fender and Boss. It uses Boss's COSM modeling to emulate Fender's famous (and now famously heavy and expensive) 1963 Spring Reverb Unit, in a compact pedal format.
This example is in nearly brand new condition. Check the pictures to see that the cool textured paint made to look like the original's tan vinyl is in excellent shape.
The pedal is functionally perfect, and has a really unique wet, drippy tone. Analog Spring Reverb is impossible without bulky spring tanks, and this pedal is a much sought after option for those desiring a spacious, classic reverb, for everything from surfy to haunting tones.
Includes box, but no manual (see pictures).
I am selling this as of my effort to clear out my large pedal collection. I have all these great pedals, but no time at all to play these days, and they are just sitting in my basement, needing to be played!
