This Helios channel strip from 2023 is in perfect condition. It is a very special unit. It is one of my favorite sounds. Unlike the 500 series from H2 Audio, this 19" preamp/eq/compressor features the Lustraphone input transformer. Also, the Acme Audio Motown DI features the Triad Electronics transformer providing the timeless James Jamerson bass sound. Regarding the compressor, make sure you setup a mic in the stairwell so you can hear the H760 FET compressors magic on your drums!
The Helios is incredibly powerful and carries a sonic heritage that dates back to Olympic Studios and Island Records. Artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Bad Company and many many others used Helios for there classic album sounds. If you want something that has a robust vintage flavor, this is your ticket.
This Helios channel has the original vintage green faceplate that is now rare and discontinued. It comes with the power supply and cabling in the original packaging.
