Peerless Gigmaster Custom early 2010's - white

PEERLESS GIGMASTER CUSTOM - (price doesn’t include shipping)

I bought this guitar USED in about 2014. The fellow I bought it from bought it NEW at the Dallas NAMM guitar show around 2011, They aren’t available new at any US music stores.

The GIGMASTER CUSTOM is a 17-inch by 3 inch Arch Top Cutaway guitar with laminated arched maple top and back with Rosewood fingerboard, bridge base , tailpiece and pickguard and a tun-o-matic bridge and a maple neck (still straight).

A single cut away hollow body manufactured by Peerless in Korea.  Very reminiscent of the Gretch swing and country guitars featuring Filtertron pickups. This is a spot on White Falcon Copy at 1/3 the price. 2 Alnico dual Filtertron style Alnico V magnet. Great Rockability, jump, jive tones.   Acrylic Mother of pearl fretboard inlays and bone nut. Fit finish and fretwork is amazing because they make their own guitars for themselves. They don’t put out quotes and take the lowest bidder, like many of the major manufacturers do with non USA guitars.

It’s a solid guitar but if you read the reviews it doesn’t exactly sound like a Gretch White Falcon – more like a Gibson semi-hollow body. I have several electrics so really haven’t played this one much. When I do I’ve been pretty pleased with it. I really wanted that fat rockabilly sound and this one delivers it. Of course you can almost get there with effects these days but this just looks so much cooler. The pictures show a small scuff on the body back near the strap pin. There’s another even smaller on the upper side above the toggle switch but I couldn’t get a good picture because it was so small.

Comes with the original case. All latches still function. The case has normal wear scuff marks you’d expect from a 15 year old case but it’s still solid – no tears, broken hinges/latches or lining.
