Gibson L5 1952 Sunburst with original case. Previously owned by Hugh Ashley.
This historic instrument has been professionally refretted and setup for optimal playability and tone!
The diamond centerpiece on the tailpiece is factory original. This is a very rare guitar.
Exceptional birdseye maple back. All of the custom upgrades were per request of Mr. Ashley.
Missing pickguard. Many from this period "off gas" so bad they disintegrate. Such was the fate of this one.
