Custom 4-String Tenor Banjo w/ Handmade Jany Neck on Vintage 1950s Pot – Fender Hard Case

Offered for sale is a custom 4-string tenor banjo built using a vintage 1950s banjo pot assembly and fitted with a handmade neck attributed to Ivan of Jany Banjos, Philadelphia, PA.

This is a custom-built player’s instrument and not a current factory production model. It features a substantial vintage-style pot, full tone ring construction, tenor scale neck, and a strong projecting acoustic response.

The instrument has been previously used and shows normal cosmetic signs of age, handling, and storage consistent with a custom/vintage instrument. It is being sold in very good used condition overall.

At the time of listing:

- neck is secure

- tuners function

- hardware is intact

- instrument is fully strung and playable but bridge removed for shipping

Please note that setup preferences on banjos are subjective and may vary by player. As with any used stringed instrument, minor adjustment to bridge placement, head tension, string height, intonation, or general setup may be desired upon arrival depending on buyer preference and climate during shipping.

Included:

- Fender hard shell case

Additional Notes:

- handmade custom neck

- vintage banjo pot assembly

- tenor 4-string configuration

- full tone ring design

- one-of-a-kind custom instrument
