2004 Fender Custom Shop Gold Leaf Eric Clapton Stratocaster — Signed by Clapton & Todd Krause | 1 of 50
This is one of only 50 Gold Leaf Clapton Stratocasters ever built — a Guitar Center exclusive Masterbuilt run from Fender’s Custom Shop in 2004. What makes this example truly exceptional is that it was Masterbuilt by Todd Krause, the builder responsible for Clapton’s own personal guitars, and it carries signatures from both Eric Clapton and Todd Krause.
The Gold Leaf Strat is one of the most visually iconic instruments Fender has ever produced, inspired by the famous guitar Clapton played and later auctioned for charity. This one is as close to the real thing as it gets.
• 1 of 50 produced
• Masterbuilt by Todd Krause
• Dual-signed: Eric Clapton + Todd Krause
• Gold leaf finish over alder body
• Soft V maple neck
• Gold Lace Sensor pickups
• Active mid-boost circuit
• Original case, case candy, strap, pick included as shown in photos. Case has one potential blemish (see photo) but I'm not sure it's a blemish. I think it came that way, but I don't want anybody to be disappointed.
Condition: Excellent. Nobody else has owned this. I’ve played it a few times and it’s a pleasure to play. It hasn’t left my house--probably hasn't even been downstairs since I got it.
Priced at $20,500.00. I’m happy to answer questions or provide additional photos. Local pickup welcome, or insured shipping available.
