Vintage Gibson Explorer III in Alpine White finish made in 1984 with Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with its three original Gibson P-90 single coils in the neck, middle & bridge positions. Controlled by 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot, a 3-way toggle switch and a 3-way middle pickup blend switch comprised of CTS pots dating to the 2*nd week of 1984 (second digit of week obscured by solder). The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid dot inlays, white side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Grover mini rotomatic tuning machines with mini kidney bean heads, a corian nut, a Gibson Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and black top hat knobs.

This guitar is in overall good condition with visible signs of play. It has visible finish checking throughout the instrument, finish wear, uneven finish aging and finish spots from previous stickers covering those spots. There are also some heavier scratches, finish chips, some dings/dents and dimples. (See Pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes a vintage Hamer-branded fitted hard shell case.
