Ibanez Talman TC630 1994

I have a nice 1994 Ibanez Talman with a custom made black pickguard loaded with Lindy Fralin P90's. I also have the original loaded pick guard with the original Ken Armstrong lipstick pickups that goes with the sale. The P90's were custom made by Lindy Fralin, l ordered them, Alnico #2 magnets reverse wound to cancel him. Lindy makes his p/u's with all vintage wire, they sound great for that P90 vintage sound, like a Gibson SG Special from the 60's. The serial number designates being made in late 1994, which most all that year were made in Japan but the neck is marked "made in Korea". I believe in late 1994, from research these Talmans changed from Japan to made in Korea starting in 1995. So the parts were likely made in Japan sent to Korea for assembly therefore a Korea made neck..? The neck does not have the fake birds eye maple, all solid maple with rosewood fret bd.

The kicker with this Talman is the body is solid ASH, most likely Japanese Ash. l sanded the finish off in the back inside cavity and exposed solid Ash, check the picture, very rare to see a solid ash Talman from the early 90's. Very few of these Talman were made from solid Ask, this is one of them. It's a little heavier than non sold Ash, has great sustain.

The lip sticks sound great, very strat like while the P90's sound Gibson SG Special like.
This is a rare Talman, everything original except whammy bar is a strat bar. Comes with gig bag.
