Rooted in the rich history of early 20th-century American guitar craftsmanship, the Epiphone L-00 Standard carries forward the legendary small-body tradition first pioneered by Gibson’s iconic L-Series. Originally introduced in the early 1930s, the L-00 became an industry benchmark for parlor-style acoustics, celebrated for its “perfect balance” of tone and projection.
Developed by Team Epiphone in close partnership with Gibson Acoustic, the L-00 Standard delivers an authentic vintage-inspired experience at an accessible price. Built with all-solid tonewoods, this guitar is designed to mature beautifully over time, rewarding players with enhanced resonance and tonal depth as it ages. A solid spruce top pairs with solid mahogany back and sides to produce a warm, balanced voice with crisp articulation—ideal for fingerstyle, blues, folk, country, and Americana. Its focused projection and midrange clarity make it equally expressive for light strumming and intricate picking.
The one-piece mahogany neck features a comfortable Rounded “C” profile and is joined to the body with a glued-in, tapered dovetail joint for exceptional stability and sustain. The rosewood fretboard offers smooth playability across 19 frets, accented with classic mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Vintage-inspired appointments continue with a bone nut, bone saddle, and a rectangular rosewood bridge fitted with ivory plastic bridge pins.
Equipped with Fishman electronics, the L-00 Standard is stage- and studio-ready. The S-Core under-saddle pickup works seamlessly with the Fishman Presys VT preamp, featuring discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that provide easy access while remaining virtually invisible to your audience.
