This is an early model of the DF-2, sold from October 1984 to April 1994, before the name change due to licensing issues, known as "SUPER Distortion~".

It features a heavy, distorted hard distortion circuit, with an added circuit that provides a feedback effect simply by holding down the pedal, regardless of the amp setting. The OVERTONE control adjusts the harmonic frequencies. A 2-mode pedal switch allows switching between distortion and feedback effects with a single pedal operation. The TONE control emphasizes the lows when centered to the left, and boosts the mid-highs as you turn it to the right. It delivers a classic, flavorful distortion sound reminiscent of American hard rock from the 1970s and 80s.
