A 1971 Fender Telecaster Blonde has arrived!!

This is a 1971 model with serial number 333504, neck date 3AUG71B, and pot date 1376636.

Although the string guide was changed to a dual-guide design starting in 1972, this guitar was made the previous year and features the single-guide specification. The bridge pickup also features white fishing line wound around the coil?the pre-change specification?as the black fishing line was introduced midway through 1971.

It features the classic combination of an ash body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard. The neck thickness is approximately 21.7 mm at the 1st fret and 24.0 mm at the 12th fret, providing a comfortable grip that is neither too thin nor too thick.

Since the body lacks an extra cavity, a long drill hole runs from the neck pocket through the front pickup cavity all the way to the control cavity to accommodate the wiring.

The pickups are original. The front pickup features a black bobbin, while the rear pickup has an original gray bobbin. Both the pots and capacitors are original. The control wiring switches between Front, Mix, and Rear. The inclusion of a capacitor for the high-pass filter is also original.

There are no replacement parts, but there have been some soldering corrections. Occasionally, the sound cuts out when operating the selector switch, and there is a slight crackling noise from the tone control. Since it is currently functioning without issues and features original parts, we have opted for cleaning rather than replacement. * Upon delivery, we can also provide the guitar with modern parts installed.

As for its condition, while there are some scratches and dents typical for its age, the truss rod has plenty of adjustment left, and playability is excellent. Its clean appearance is another appealing feature. This is an early f70s vintage model that is sure to appreciate in value?please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.
