This particular McCarty 594 featues solid korina body and neck construction, with a deeply figured flitchmatched flame maple "10 Top" and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

Often referred to as “super mahogany,” the korina body and neck deliver a natural midrange detail and complex trebles, qualities faithfully captured by the humbucker pair. The 58/18 LT humbuckers are only available from PRS loaded in one of their instruments (not sold separately), and these highly prized low-wind PAF-style pickups are extremely articulate, sweet, and expressive. Both pickups have dedicated push/pull coil taps on the Tone controls for sparkling, snappy single coil tonalities.
