Up for sale, a 2006 Paul Reed Smith 20th Anniversary Singlecut, complete with the original suede hardshell case and hangtag. Replete with upgrades, this PRS features a modern pickup pair (Metal and 57/08), Phase III locking tuners, and two-tone PRS hardware. This rare, premium iteration of the Singlecut platform was produced in limited quantities to celebrate 20 years of PRS production, boasting a genuine Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with 20th Anniversary birds-in-flight inlays, and a bookmatched quilted maple Artist top with a gloss Gray Black finish.
Well-balanced on a strap and weighing 9lbs 6oz, traditional tonewoods include the carved maple cap, mahogany body and one-piece mahogany neck. The replacement pair of humbuckers comprise a Metal \m/ in the bridge position and a 57/08 at the neck: the Metal bridge humbucker is aggressive and articulate, boasting ceramic magnet construction, ideal for powerful cleans and wound to take massive amounts of gain. The 57/08 is PRS’s take on a PAF-style humbucker, featuring Alnico II magnet construction and yielding smooth trebles and fat low end. This 20th Anniversary Singlecut has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
