Decided to let go of this vintage Tascam tape deck. It’s been in my possession for over 20 years as a restoration project. I just recently replaced the capstan motor PCB and the control belt. So some of the work has been done for you. Unit powers on. Unfortunately the unit doesn’t playback. Forward and Rewind work fine. The control belt does move the play head up and down, but after a couple seconds it stops. I own a Tascam CD-A750 so I don’t necessarily need this one. I just wanted to get it working again. I will include the original capstan pcb. These units seem to be pretty pricey, so hopefully someone out there can fix and flip this one. Give it a new run on life in a studio. Just want to reiterate this unit is For Parts/Not Working. Thanks for looking don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
