1980 Gibson Chet Atkins CE, solid-body nylon string electric classical in Alpine White (now ivory/cream with age) with a wide nut profile. Single-cutaway solid mahogany body with decorative rosette and decorative soundhole (the body is fully solid — no acoustic chamber, which is the defining design feature that prevents feedback on stage). Slotted rosewood headstock with gold tuners, ebonized rosewood fingerboard, under-saddle piezo pickup with onboard volume and tone wheels rim-mounted on the upper bout.
