Built from DIY kit.

Spektrum is a 16HP switched capacitor filter with resonance control and a completely unique stereo circuit. Unlike other switched capacitor filters (like Clot) Spektrum is not driven with an onboard oscillator. It

instead takes an input signal and uses it as a clock to switch the capacitors within the filter.

Each filter channel has frequency and resonance controls as well as 3 inputs: the main audio input (also used as clocking input), an optional secondary external clock input, and a secondary attenuated input for mixing in another audio signal. Input for audio/clock is normalled from channel 1 to channel 2. In the middle there is an AND logic output for both channels clocks, and a mix output if you want to use both channels but in mono. The logic gate output is also normalled to the attenuated input which works nicely for pinging the filter.

Next to each channel output there are 3 switches for dividing the incoming clock in different ways. Both channels have different cap values and divisions to make the outputs (in some settings) alternate between rhythms and patterns between left and right.

So in short, inserting a signal into the input creates sequences, rhythmic patterns and basslines depending on settings on the module but also depending on the input (as an experiment use the wave multiple out signal from Bristol Bloodhound and multiply the waveform while inserted into Spektrum. It will behave differently while scanning the incoming signal). Sweeping the incoming waveform, filtering it or running it through a reverb before spektrum will most likely create very interesting and varying results.
