The guitar is very clean and has been kept in a smoke-free environment. Is has no nicks, no scratches, no repairs. The neck is straight, truss rod and open tuners work fine, and the frets are 9/10 condition without notches. The action is low but buzz free, and there is plenty of saddle. Intonation is spot-on.
No electronics.
The pic of the back has a blue arrow pointing to glare only. The top of the guitar, seen only from an angle, shows slight fading of the high gloss on the lower bout.
The D-21 has an interesting history and has been described as a blend of D-18 (rosewood fret board) and HD28 (rosewood back and sides).
Plain looks and strong, crisp volume and typical Martin dreadnought bass.
Comes in the original hard case in excellent condition.
