Thanks for shopping with Upper Room Music.
This is a consignment piece for a customer and is in Excellent condition.
Up for sale is a 1981 Fender Deluxe Reverb II from the Rivera era. This is a great example of these underrated early-80s Fender amps. Original transformers and circuit, with some replaced capacitors (Orange Drop caps) as part of routine maintenance.
The amp is currently loaded with a Jensen P12Q alnico speaker, which pairs really well with this amp and gives it a warm, vintage-style tone with smooth breakup.
The amp is fully functional and sounds great, but like most amps of this age, it would likely benefit from a standard cap job in the near future if you plan to gig it regularly. No issues currently, just normal preventative maintenance for a 40+ year old tube amp.
Cosmetically in great condition for its age with typical light wear.
Great sounding amp with both clean headroom and the Rivera gain channel. These have been getting more popular recently as people realize how good they are.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
