The Yamaha CS1x was introduced in the 1990s as a digital version of an analogue synth, and it is a joy to play with. And I mean play in all senses. This particular model has clearly lived, it has been loved, and it is a warhorse. Still works perfectly. You can replicate classic 90s sounds, from the dance floor to emo/goth but you can also filter and resonate, alter and blend. As well as the core GM Midi instruments there's a full range of Preset and User Performances, making for 3x128 sounds with infinite possibilities. And the arpeggiator is the bomb. It is 61-key and very light in weight. Comes with original manuals, which have humor and detail. And sure, I taught my kid the keyboard keys with sticky labels but maybe you want to do the same!
I am also selling a SKB flight case custom molded for this very instrument (circa 42"x15"). Flight case is listed separately at $125, but for local pick-up will take $325 for pair obo.
