Up for sale, a 2004 Gretsch G6118T-120 Double Anniversary in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This uncommon iteration of the Double Anniversary model was produced for Gretsch’s 120th anniversary (1883-2003), featuring a pair of TV Jones Classic Filter’Tron humbuckers, Bigsby B6 vibrato, and a Bamboo Yellow finish on top with Copper Mist metallic back, sides, and neck. This particular G6118T-120 has been modified with a Master Tone control (the standard Tone selector has been converted to a Tone Bypass switch).
The fully hollow maple body is accurate to vintage spec with a 16” lower bout width, three-ply laminate construction, and sound post bracing with parallel tone bars on top, resulting in an instrument with fantastic natural resonance and a lively, articulate acoustic character. The USA-made TV Jones TV Classic Filter’Tron pickups are quintessential Gretsch, with thick, silky tones in the neck position, and a cutting growl and focused midrange punch at the bridge. This G6118T-120 Double Anniversary weighs 8lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Bamboo Yellow/Copper Mist gloss finish is in excellent shape, with just a few faint marks on the body. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
