The Pépè Fuzz is named after Pepe Rush, the original creator of the PepBox fuzz.
It’s a fairly high gain fuzz, but it’s ever so slightly gated quality keeps it quiet.
The Body knob acts as a bias control. It helps thicken or thin out the circuit.
This fuzz circuit is underrated in my opinion. As it has a nice vintage feel to it, yet the silicon transistors are much more stable than the tempermental Germaniums.
Give a small builder a chance and enjoy this classic circuit at a nice price.
