Danelectro Hodad 12 String Electric Guitar w/ Waterslide Guitars Rubber Bridge Conversion
This is a Danelectro Hodad 12 string from the early 2000's that's received a Waterslide Baritone Rubber Bridge Conversion. It is currently equipped with high quality flatwound LaBella strings. Included along with the guitar is a Guitar Center soft case, which is in good overall shape with some light exterior wear.
The 'Mosrite-shaped' body and innovative "Select-o-matic" switching were only around for a few years in the Danelectro lineup. Made in Korea, these were well-built and great sounding additions to the Dano catalog.
This one has minor signs of playing wear and is in great shape overall. Trussrod works well, all electronics function just as they should, original vinyl side binding is still intact, tuners work well etc.
With the Waterslide rubber bridge baritone conversion, this guitar has a whole new voice and plays well all over the neck. It's 1.75" at the nut so it's got a nice wide neck for a 12 string and things don't feel cramped.
I have also attached a video demo from Waterslide of the guitar being played. This video goes through all of the pickup/tone switching combinations.
Feel free to message me with any questions. I guarantee fast and safe shipping. Thank you!
