*SUPER RARE* circa 1929 "The Gibson" small‑body parlor acoustic, bearing the classic “The Gibson” headstock logo and factory order number (FON) 9321. This guitar follows the early L‑series body style but in a much smaller, extra‑short‑scale format that many players would describe as parlor or Terz‑size rather than a full‑size L‑0.

The body is believed to have a solid mahogany top with mahogany back and sides, finished in Gibson’s period brown nitrocellulose lacquer. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard and an unusually compact 22 3/4" scale, with a narrow 1 9/16" nut width—great for players who like a very small, easy‑playing vintage instrument or for higher‑tuned “Terz‑style” use.

Overall condition is very good for a guitar approaching 100 years old. There are normal cosmetic signs of age and use, including a bit of binding separation on the top and a small crack along the lower bout, both pictured. Structurally solid, with no apparent major issues beyond what is described and shown in the photos. Includes a fitted hard case.

Please review all photos carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions or for specific measurements or close‑ups. Following are the measurements we obtained during inspection:

  • Scale length: 22 3/4"
  • Nut to 12th fret: 11 3/8"
  • Lower bout width: 12 1/2"
  • Upper bout width: 9"
  • Body depth: 3 1/2"
  • Nut width: 1 9/16"
