Millennia Media TD-1 stereo pair in excellent working condition, rack mounted together and only used in a smoke-free studio environment.

The TD-1 is capable of exceptional clarity and transparency, while still offering warmth, depth, and tonal character when desired.

The TD-1 is an unusually sophisticated and flexible recording front end that combines several high-end studio tools into a single unit: Millennia’s acclaimed HV-3 microphone preamp, Twin Topology design, switchable between a high-voltage 12AT7 vacuum tube amplifier and a fully discrete FET solid-state path. Three selectable input impedances (470K, 2M, 10M ohms) let you tune the response to the instrument. The result is a front end that works equally well on microphones and instruments.

Beyond the preamp and DI, the TD-1 includes:

•. Patented REAMP outputs for running DAW tracks back through guitar amplifiers

•. Speaker Soak technology for direct capture of power amplifier output under real speaker loading

•. Nine simultaneous output configurations. It is as useful at mixdown as it is tracking.

•. Two bands of NSEQ-style mastering-grade parametric EQ.

The EQ, derived from Millennia's NSEQ-2 mastering equalizer, is widely regarded as one of the most musical and transparent equalizers available. It has been described as broad and silky when needed, surgical when required, and always remarkably natural sounding. I have used a lot of EQs over the years and this is one of my favorites.

Discontinued and no longer available new, a working stereo pair from a single seller is a rare find. Both units are fully operational and rack-mounted as a stereo pair.
