Telefunken / WSW 811453 IA Input Amplifier + Filtek MK7 EQ Module (Vintage Broadcast Audio)
Description:
Up for sale is a vintage professional broadcast audio module set, consisting of a WSW / Telefunken 811453 IA input amplifier and a Filtek MK7 equalizer module.
These units originate from a classic European broadcast or studio system (circa 1960s–1970s) and are built to high professional standards.
- The right module is marked “IA K.Nr 811453” and is an input/line amplifier (IA = Input Amplifier) manufactured by WSW (Wiener Schwachstrom Werke) and used in Telefunken systems. It features a large rotary level control (1–11 scale) and status indicator light.
- The left module is a Filtek MK7 equalizer, a vintage parametric EQ with multiple frequency and gain controls for detailed sound shaping. Filtek gear is well regarded for its musical analog character.
Both modules are mounted in a metal frame, likely part of a larger rack or console channel strip from a radio or studio installation.
Condition:
- Untested, sold as-is due to age
- Shows normal cosmetic wear (see photos)
- Knobs and switches appear intact
Important:
- These are modular broadcast units, not standalone consumer devices
- Will require appropriate power supply and wiring/pinout knowledge to operate
Ideal for:
Collectors, vintage audio enthusiasts, DIY studio builds, or restoration projects.
