Rare, complete, and intact vintage active electronics package pulled from a first-year 1977 Gibson RD Artist guitar. The guitar was converted to a standard passive humbucker setup, so this entire original Moog assembly was carefully kept together. Because I do not own the proprietary Gibson Series VI low-impedance pickups required to properly feed this circuit, this assembly is being sold As-Is / Untested for parts or restoration.

Included:

  • Original 1977 Moog PCB Circuit Board: Physically clean with original components (new 9V battery harness).
  • Complete Wiring Harness: 100% intact with original volume and tone pots, output jack, and all (non-pickup) wiring, including connectors.
  • Original Factory Switches: Both multi-position toggle switches are attached and include original mounting nuts.
  • New 9V Battery Harness: Attached

Condition Notes: Physically, the board and harness are in great vintage shape with no obviously burnt traces or modifications. However, given its age (nearly 50 years old) and my inability to test the dynamic compression/expansion logic without the stock pickups, expect that it may require a standard electronic servicing or recap to perform at 100%.

Please review photos carefully to inspect the condition of the solder joints, capacitors, and traces.
