I purchased this individual drum brand new in 1973 direct from Slingerland. I bought it to match with my 60s era Rogers kit in blue onyx.
Don’t ask me why I didn’t order it from Rogers. There must’ve been some reason but too long ago to remember this drum along with my Rogers kit has been stored away in my home studio in a Humes and Berg fiber case for decades.
It’s a beautiful drum actually in excellent condition. The wrap is beautiful and the chrome is great.
Most of us back then removed the bottom heads for that 70’s sound and painted the interior shells flat black to look better under the stage lights ha ha.
If you’re looking for a solid 70s era Slingerland rack tom you won’t be sorry this is a great drum!
