A fine, well-preserved example of a 1935 Gibson L-00, originally acquired from Gruhn Guitars and thoughtfully maintained. This pre-war small-body features mahogany back and sides paired with a rosewood fretboard, delivering the dry, woody, and highly responsive tone that defines the model—equally at home with fingerstyle or light flatpicking.

The instrument has benefitted from a professional neck reset, ensuring proper geometry and comfortable playability, along with a repaired/replaced bridge for long-term structural stability. The original tuners have been upgraded to Waverly machines for enhanced tuning precision; the originals are included in the case.

A Fishman Rare Earth pickup has been cleanly installed, offering reliable amplification while preserving the guitar’s natural acoustic character.

Shows honest, age-appropriate playwear, with no issues affecting function or structural integrity. A strong player-grade vintage L-00, equally suited for stage or studio work.

Housed in a Martin hardshell case.

Offered reluctantly—the neck profile is not the ideal fit for my hands, and I’d love to see it go to a player who will fully appreciate and make use of this exceptional instrument.
