1973 FENDER TELECASTER, BLOND, MAPLE NECK, ASH BODY, G&G PREM CASE, 6.5 POUNDS !!
A gorgeous maple-necked vintage Fender Telecaster. This one was brought to us by its longtime owner with the precursor that this one is Light. When we got together on it, he wasn't kidding. This Tele weighs in a 6 and half pounds (6 lbs, 8 oz.). Featherweight and a nice piece of Ash to boot.
This 1973 Telecaster features an aged lacquer finished ash body, Kluson tuning machines, 'F' neck plate, and threaded saddles. The guitar is completely original with neck, serial and pot dates all confirming the 1973 date. Pictures here for your review.
Standard 70s neck profile with a Maple fingerboard. Classic 21 Fret, 7.25” Radius. The nut width is 41.5mm approximately. The width at the 12th fret is 51 mm. Steel saddles and bridge ashtray. The original finish is nicely worn but not abused. There are minor chipped and worn body edges, and lighter areas where the top coats of lacquer are wearing thinner. A few patina scuffs are visible on the front and back as pictured. The neck finish shows typical wearing through, original tuners work well, original nut is properly adjusted and has never been removed from the neck.
The key is this guitar weighs in at 6 lbs, 8oz. It is phenomenally light and easy to use. Body resonance is good with the lighter weight Amazing neck feel and vibe. The pickups are excellent, and comes with a premium G&G/Fender non-original hardshell case
This 1973 Fender Telecaster is a used item in Very Good condition. There are a few edge dings, body marks and finish aging and wear on the body. No back of body rash, but you will see a few scuffs.
