The Swell Vibe is a true photocell and bulb, through-hole part construction, old school univibe build with more volume on tap above unity and true bypass. Housed in a standalone vintage wah enclosure. Sound is throbby with no high end roll off and asymmetrical goodness. Can also be used like a phaser by rolling down the intensity and set at low speeds (listen to "Can't Seem To Make You Mine" by Cactus Moon which uses one of my Vibes!). A side toggle switch goes between "Chorus" or "Vibrato". See music by The Band for cool use of vibrato (not my Vibe), chorus mode is self explanatory most as people use that seeting. I tuned this one against originals to get the right...vibe. Must power with Boss style center negative plug at 18 volts DC.
