The Taylor 315ce is a powerful, discontinued gem from Taylor’s 300 Series, offering the massive projection and deep resonance that only a true Jumbo body shape can provide. Built with solid tonewoods—Sitka Spruce for the top and Sapele for the back and sides—this guitar delivers a loud, balanced voice with a robust bass response and the signature top-end shimmer Taylor is known for. It is an ideal instrument for aggressive strummers and fingerstyle players alike who need a big sound that remains articulate across the entire frequency spectrum.
Equipped with a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the higher frets and the professional Taylor Expression System electronics, the 315ce is a versatile workhorse for both the stage and the studio. The Jumbo shape provides extra air volume within the body, resulting in a piano-like low end that adds depth to any arrangement.
This guitar is in great structural shape and has been professionally inspected. It plays beautifully with a comfortable action and shows only minimal fret wear. Cosmetically, it is a player's guitar with some honest wear and tear, including a few nicks and dings here and there from years of being enjoyed, but nothing that affects its integrity or performance. Please note that the truss rod cover is currently missing (a simple and inexpensive part to order directly from Taylor). Included is the original Taylor hardshell case, which remains in good, sturdy condition.
