This is an Italian-made VOX wah pedal, a successor to the Clyde McCoy, from the early 1970s! It features an engraved logo.

From the mid-to-late 1960s, Vox effects pedals were manufactured by EME in Italy (a joint venture established in the early 1960s by JMI, Thomas Organ, and the Italian instrument manufacturer EKO). In February 1967, the first commercially available wah pedal, the VOX "CLYDE McCOY," was released, followed in late 1967 by the "cry baby (Top-Logo)" model for the US market. Later, around 1969-1970, JEN ELECTRONICA separated from EME, taking over the production of VOX wah pedals and releasing its own brand, "Crybaby." In the mid-1980s, VOX released the European-market "WAH 250.049/250.414" and their own brand "Crybaby 310.001 (250.046)," and from the late 1970s, the "Crybaby SUPER 250.422/250.394" also appeared. These models possess the distinctive sound directly inherited from Clyde McCoy.
