The guitar is pretty cool. Someone installed electronic pick up which is basically just piezo attached underneath the bridge plate. It definitely needs a cable and preamp if you're going to use the electronics. The tuners are original, there is no strap , it sounds pretty good for its age. It was made in Japan, I believe it's a solid top and laminated sides and back
