This microphone was recently serviced directly by the official Neumann facility and had the capsule replaced, so it is fully functional and performing as intended. It has been professionally inspected and repaired by Neumann, not a third-party repair shop.
Functionally, the mic is in excellent condition and sounds great. The capsule replacement gives extra peace of mind compared to many used U 87 Ai listings, since one of the most important parts of the microphone has been professionally replaced by Neumann.
Cosmetically, the microphone shows some light scuffs, surface marks on the body, and a slight dent. The wooden Neumann box is included and also shows some cosmetic wear. Please review the photos for the exact physical condition.
