Ibanez DT250 Destroyer II – Made in Japan (mid-1980s)
Striking red finish with highly sought-after matching red fretboard - a rare and eye-catching vintage Ibanez from the golden era of Japanese production.
I’ve owned this guitar since around 1990. The previous owner bought it new and only used it for a handful of gigs.
Since I’ve had it, it has never been gigged and has seen very little use, which is reflected in its condition.
Condition
- Very good condition for a ~40-year-old guitar
- A few small chips and light surface marks (shown clearly in photos)
- These are all minor and in most cases barely noticeable
- They do not affect playability in any way - Replacement tone control (very close match - only noticeable on close inspection)
- New tremelo arm
- No case is included

The guitar had a professional inspection and setup a couple of years ago, with no issues identified.
