About NEW CNR SYTEM

  1. Redesigned heel-to-fingerboard structure improves neck heel stability and transfers string tension to the expansive element and adjustment screw.
  2. Its length and rigidity ensure optimal neck geometry and excellent playability.
  3. Eccentric screw secures solid lateral position of the neck.

  4. Two-way adjustable truss rod allows for precise adjustments of your neck relief.

  5. Carbon fiber truss rod casing keeps your neck relief smooth over long periods, even in tough conditions.

  6. Expansion gap accommodates natural wood movement due to humidity
    changes.
  7. Expansive element is the heart of CNR System® Active, responding to ambient humidity by expanding or contracting to maintain consistent neck performance.

  8. String action adjustment screw allows fine-tuning of your string action for personalized playability.

The CNR System® Active provides you with the freedom to quickly and easily adjust your setup and the confidence that your guitar will always feel just as great as the last time you played it, regardless of environmental conditions.

This innovation allows you to immerse yourself in your music and strengthen your connection to your instrument—which is what matters most.

Whether you play to create, perform, or unwind, the CNR System® Active delivers a seamless and enjoyable experience, transforming your guitar into a more reliable and inspiring companion for years to come.

The Furch CNR System Active® neck design is available in all Furch guitars with serial number 126,202 and higher.

The neck is one of the most critical components of an acoustic guitar, directly affecting its stability and playability.

At Furch, we’ve dedicated decades to refining this essential element, culminating in the CNR System® Active—a revolutionary neck design that ensures your guitar’s string action remains precise, even in fluctuating humidity, without requiring constant adjustments.

Like the original Furch CNR System®, it features an adjustable truss rod embedded in a carbon fiber casing, paired with an L-shaped alloy heel structure.

This innovative design delivers unparalleled neck stability and supreme accuracy in neck relief adjustment.

Its rigid construction eliminates the need for heavy reinforcements, resulting in a lighter neck joint that enhances resonance and sound quality by allowing more of the soundboard to vibrate freely.

All components of the system are seamlessly integrated into the neck for a clean and unobtrusive design.

Building on the success of the original CNR System®, which increased neck stability by 90%, the CNR System® Active introduces several groundbreaking upgrades.

The updated L-shaped structure is now 60 mm longer and 45% stronger, significantly enhancing neck stability and optimizing the transfer of string tension.

An added expansion element automatically adjusts the neck angle by leveraging wood’s natural properties, ensuring consistent string actionregardless of humidity. Additionally, a simple screw mechanism enables effortless string action adjustments, eliminating the need for traditional saddle modifications.

Rigorous testing comparing it to the original CNR System® confirmed that the CNR System® Active effectively channels resonance through the fretboard area, ensuring the rich tonal quality Furch guitars are renowned for remains intact.

Any potential impact of the expansion gap on sound quality is negligible, falling well below the threshold of audible perception.

This design enables players to enjoy improved playability and reliability without sacrificing the exceptional tone that defines Furch guitars.
