Hello Yamaha drum fans. Here we have a Yamaha Oak Custom four-piece drum kit -- made in Japan, the good stuff!

Top quality professional grade drums in excellent condition. Some of the best drums made and the last of the made in Japan Yamaha kits.

Matched set of drums purchased new together. Yamaha Oak Custom badges on all drums with corresponding and sequential serial numbers.

These drums are all in excellent condition. Super clean exterior finish, clean shell interiors and bearing edges. Original chrome hardware all in clean condition, no rust or pitting, no broken parts. All batter side heads you have an upgraded to new Evans professional series heads which enhance drum appearance, tone and tuning control.

The drums are finished in original Uzukuri emerald high-gloss transparent lacquer with wood grain showing through. Yamaha's Uzukuri finish is a traditional Japanese technique used on Oak Custom drums, designed to highlight the natural grain by sanding down softer areas. This process creates a textured, durable surface that is then coated and buffed, resulting in a luxurious, rustic appearance. Very unique/beautiful, professional grade finish!

Details and Specs:

Bass drum -- 22 round x 16 inches. Matching oak lacquer hoops, both in excellent condition. The drums comes with its original Yamaha heavy duty double tom ball and socket mounting post with a third mounting hole for adding cymbal arms in other gear.. Heads -- stock Yamaha resonant head and upgraded Evans emad batter had with built-in muffler.

Floor tom -- 16 round x 14 inches on legs. This was originally a 16 inch suspended floor tom. Two very light surface scratches on the exterior shell finish hardly noticeable to small to capture with camera. Previous owner had factory original legs and leg mounts professionally installed. Top quality legs and mounts added by a professional drum shop. The drum retains its original Yamaha suspension mount so that the drum can be used in suspended mounted fashion as desired. Heads -- upgraded new Evans coated batter head and stock Yamaha resident head.

Rack/mounted toms -- 13 round x 10 and 12 round by 9 inches. Heads -- upgraded Evans coated batter heads and stock Yamaha resonant heads.

The drums tune up easily, stay in tune and deliver warm, woody tones with outstanding volume and tuning ranges.

Comparable new cost for this kit in this configuration is in the $3,000 range.
