For sale is my 2022 KLOS full carbon fiber full-size acoustic-electric guitar — the least expensive full-size KLOS full carbon on Reverb at the time of listing, and priced below KLOS's own refurbished offerings with no production wait. Includes approximately $145 in factory upgrades over the base model: side sound port (+$90) and the upgraded gig bag with detachable neck storage (+$55). Also includes a custom-installed ebony armrest mod and the original KLOS capo. Plays excellently with low action, smooth fretwork, and reliable intonation.

I'm selling because I bought it for travel and haven't been traveling as much lately. Purchased new, it's seen mostly home practice use in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment, plus about a dozen bluegrass jams. What I love about it is the rock-solid intonation — it's always ready to go when my wooden guitars are in the shop or fighting the weather.

Intonation is dead-on across the fretboard — in the demo video, recorded on 5/5/2026, you can see the precision tuner sit centered through chord changes and on every individual string check

When I first got this guitar, I added an ebony arm rest to the lower bottom left corner (also known as the upper treble bout) and have been very pleased with how the arm rest looks and functions. With the carbon fiber top I wanted to give it as much potential to vibrate as possible and after a few initial trials found that it does sound even better with the arm rest vs without.

The removable neck is one of this guitar's coolest features — convenient for air travel, storage, or tight spaces. I've taken it off and reattached it several times with a Phillips head screwdriver and the process is quick and reliable.

Quick price comparison: A new KLOS Full Carbon Full Size Acoustic-Electric runs $2,139 from dealers (without the sound port or upgraded gig bag) with a production wait. KLOS's own refurbished listings are also priced higher than this one. This guitar ships immediately, includes the upgrades, and the armrest is a bonus you can't get from the factory.

The soundhole-mounted Fishman Sonitone pickup works great and has two dials one for volume and one for tone.

This guitar will ship with the neck off in an appropriately sized box to save on shipping cost. The strings I had on it are held in place by the Klos capo at the 12th fret and the neck is in the padded neck bag. The guitar is in the main gig bag. I have placed the 4 neck bolts, the tusq saddle, and the 6 bridge pins in a clear plastic bag in the front zipper pocket of the main case. When you get the guitar just get a phillips head screwdriver to assemble the neck, put the saddle and bridge pins in place and you are ready to play! It’s pretty cool.

Key Specifications and Features

  • Year: 2022
  • Construction: Full carbon fiber body, neck, and construction – lightweight, highly stable, and resistant to temperature and humidity changes
  • Size: Full-size (standard profile)
  • Orientation: Right-handed
  • Electronics: Factory-installed Fishman Sonitone pickup system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for clear, natural amplified tone
  • Sound Port: Side sound port for enhanced player monitoring and acoustic projection (a $90 add-on when purchased from the Klos website)

Condition Details — full transparency:

The guitar plays excellently with low action, smooth fretwork, and reliable intonation. Multiple detailed close-up photos are included for your review.

One cosmetic note worth highlighting upfront: there is a small, subtle surface crack on the top shoulder from a past incidental impact during transport. It is difficult to notice without close inspection, has been completely stable since it happened, and has zero effect on structural integrity, playability, or sound. Honestly, I was glad I wasn't traveling with a wooden guitar that day — the carbon fiber did its job.

There are also a few very minor blemishes on the front and even smaller scuffs on the back, which may buff out with cleaning or polish. All shown clearly in the photos.
